From the 1930s or 1940s these stunning panels of grey cotton barkcloth feature a classic Chinoiserie print. Chinoiserie is a traditional Western interpretation of Asian motifs. The panels includes classic images of garden scenes with a man and a woman in a lush garden surrounded by tulips and pagodas, and a donkey being pulled by a man across a bridge.
This listing is for four panels that are pleated at the top with a 6" weighted hem at the bottom.
Dimensions: 80" (L) X 33" (pleats)/ 64" (hem) each
Condition: Three of the panels are in great vintage condition and contain some very minor imperfections, including a few minor discolorations that don't show up in photos and get lost in the folds of the panels. There is also some some minor damage to the vertical edge (see photo). The fourth panel has some major discolorations (see photos) and some tearing along one edge. These flaws also get lost in the folds of the panel, or you could turn the panel into some lovely accent pillows. Priced accordingly. These curtains are cleaned and ready to go!
